Honestly, I love this movie. The acting was great. I liked most of the characters by the end. I must say I love Dan Levy and John was a great character but it did seem very stereotyped. The music was good too. I know people hated Harper and at times I got frustrated with her too but I think most people who have conservative families can agree its hard to come out. So yes she made a big mistake and she could've and should've done things differently but I can she her side of it. But as a young kid trying to accept herself it is really refreshing and reassuring to see a lesbian couple. It gives me hope. It was also hilarious. But what people don't understand is this movie is supposed to have bad characters. The family is kinda supposed to suck. So don't get angry that they family isn't good because they aren't really supposed to be until the end. But in all in all I think it's a great movie and I do recommended it.

I loved this movie. The casting was good and the writing was for the most part. Although one of the main characters names Silas was played by an English man and he covered the accent well but sometimes you could hear it.
