I've read a lot of fiction and non fiction related to how the Maoris were abused by the British and how those that were sent to Australia for what we call minor offenses in our time. This movie brought all of it to life! It made me angry, it made me sad - well done 👍!!

Bravo to the cast (especially Andie McDowell!) with true to life scenes and emotions every step of the way. Kept me glued to my set .. thoroughly enjoyable. 👍👍
