This dramatic show is fantastic! Be aware that it’s a very violent show yet not overly gory.

No spoilers here. I’m a huge GOTG fan so wasn’t thrilled that this would be their last movie. Yet, the movie was action packed with a very rich storyline. Be prepared as parts of this movie are very dark and disturbing but not the entire movie. As you’d expect, there’s plenty of humor and comic relief. The two during/ after credit scenes were great. PS- While GOTG Vol. 3 stands alone (mostly), watch the GOTG Holiday Special on Disney+ before seeing the movie. I saw the movie before the holiday special and something in the credits made me look up that tie-in. The holiday special really is the prologue to this movie.

So far, so great. It’s giving you just enough information to keep you wondering what the heck is going on.

This was a fantastic story. This is an origin story on how Cruella began. If you enjoyed "Maleficent”, you will probably enjoy “Cruella”. Academy Award winning actresses Emma Stone and Emma Thompson are both fantastic. The soundtrack was on point. It’s Sunday and I’ve already seen the movie twice (it just came out Friday). My only complaint is that it was not available in 3-D at the theater.

This movie was cute, funny, heartwarming and silly. Is it Oscar worthy? Maybe not. Is it a worthy comedy? Definitely so! I frankly don’t understand the low scores from some people. It makes me laugh out loud every time I watch it!

I watched this movie “knowing” the horrors of slavery. Yet, this movie brings the perspective of really feeling the horrors of people being kidnapped, taken from their families, tortured, raped, forced to labor with all freedoms taken away. It’s truly horrifying in a way a 21st century person can understand. Spoiler- Sadly, the slaves in American history didn’t have the, I won’t say happy but rather, victorious ending Veronica has.
