Absolutely love this show!!! I loved Season 2's first episode premiere last night. IT WAS GREAT!!! The character development was there with good follow up from Season 1 issues for the characters. I'm a big fan of the music used on the shows and notice it is even better in Season 2 do far. There are cop shows on TV that have become too political, i.e. Law & Order, SVU, that I stopped watching after years of watching. The Rookie had a small political statement in one episode in Season 1, but it was not offensive to me, even though I didn't share the same view. It is light hearted with a STRONG case!! Nathan Fillion is GREAT!! Richard Jones, Melissa O'Neil, Titus Makin and Alyssa Diaz are great as well. Such a good blend. This show could get cheesy like other cop shows on regular TV - but it doesn't!! I so look forward to my Sunday nights at 10 pm. Reminds me of watching XFiles (not the same type of show) years ago on Sunday nights. Great memories!!! Hope this show is around for a LONG time!!
