I finally sat down and watched (binge watched actually) The Haunting of Bly Manor. May I just say that it was soooo worth the wait! I am so happy that I didn’t look at reviews prior to watching. Where many are positive and rightly so, it’s too bad that so many based their reviews on their comparison to Haunting of Hill House. This is an anthology and therefore each should be based on their own merits. Much like American Horror Story. Bly Manor is mysterious. It takes your mind on twists and turns and makes you think. In a world filled with jump scares and gore, a good psychological scare is always welcome!! Great acting, beautiful surroundings, a slow build and a ghost/love story. Much appreciated!
