Hitchcock at the top of his powers. "Vertigo" is a rapture of obsession, twisted love and possession. Stewart and Novak have never been better.

Poorly written with two stories that don't connect well and thin characters. Nice visuals and good performance by Ethan Hawke. "Left Handed Gun" (1958) and "One Eyed Jacks" (1961) told Billy the Kid story much better.

Typically stylish Coen Bros' movie with three of the six shorts being excellent and the other three certainly interesting and worthwhile. They do an expert job of mixing the grisly and the funny. Their 19th century dialogue stands out with its seeming authenticity.
