I was optimistic after watching the first two episodes. The visuals are world class and the fighting choreography was impressive. I'm also a big fan of the music and general atmosphere. But Chapters 3 and 4, 4 especially, have me worried that the show will return to a bland, cliche, Western archetype cut-and-paste with lazy writing and predictable plot devices, some of the things that doomed The Force Awakens and Last Jedi. But I thought the same thing after watching the first few minutes of Rogue One, and now it's one of my fav SW movies. Don't want to jump to any conclusions yet. I also am not qualified to critique films or movies so who knows
