Excellent! Well written. Superbly performed.

I resonated with this show. The writing is sharp and really allows you to go on this journey with Knight without feeling mad about where he is in his "woke" state. Or getting mad at the ignorance of the people we encounter as people of Color. We often don't "wake up" until we have to and even then it may be a struggle. The show is very timely. I thought they got rid of his girlfriend too quickly. Black women have a tendency to try to "save" their men from themselves. However, I know it was a creative choice to move the story forward. Overall I stayed Woke through Season 1 and look forward to Season 2.

This is a very funny film. You really see the comedy of Gloria Swanson shine through the Writer's intentions.
