The story starts off, with a strong plot; amazing characters and great action / fighting scenes. But somewhere towards the end; the story loses pace and drags, and the viewer starts losing interest. But I still enjoyed it and would recommend it to people who enjoy Chinese Historical Fiction series. ✌🏾👍🏾

Keep your logic aside and watch it. I watched it because I like the female lead a lot. The story in itself was okay but it dragged a bit in the end, but still it was a good light Watch.

It was heart breaking, to see the struggles, each one of them had to go through. But it was endearing, it was uplifting as they overcame their demons. Each one of the cast did an amazing job. Loved the lead couple so much, they had amazing chemistry.

// a bit of a spoiler // The most frustrating female lead ever, goodness make up your mind, women! But over all the story was okay. There was no chemistry between the leads. The 2nd lead, Yul was good, hopelessly flawed but loved with all his might. but I hated Hyorins character and Yul’s moms character, both of them Regretted their choices and then chose to make others lives hell, wth. And The King, OmG! What the hell are you thinking about a women who left you. I felt the queen was very pitiful, and felt the most for HER. this is the first time, I have such feelings for a Support character.
