A fun sequel which has been made full-on Avengers style! The eerie feel of the village, the lovable characters and a mandatory item song - nothing has changed. But with the entry of sarkata and the reunion of all the protagonists to defeat the common villian, the movie was truly enjoyable. The songs could have been better and Tamannaah's role could have been better too! But apart from these minor disappointments, the movie was extremely fun to watch.

This movie is soooo close to reality. I didn't know that this movie had big stars like Emily Blunt and Chris Pratt along with Jason Segal. The fact that one can never be too sure about marriage even before or after it, has been beautifully portrayed in this movie. There is always an underlying stress of one's career vs. having kids, being a perfect family, settling down because your parents would want to see you settled down etc. etc. What this movie tries to convey is 'marriage is never easy, but it surely is worth it' through a dialogue involving a cookie between Emily and Alison Brie. I really liked how the couple experienced a plethora of emotions, only to realize that they are the best fit for each other. Movie surely is a bit slow and disengaging sometimes, but I would definitely give it a 3.5/5 for the story, the cast and the message.

What a movie! The dialogues were brilliant and so were the action sequences. Loved the fact that a kid could carry so many emotions with him and portray them beautifully on screen. The fight between mankind and aliens is such a clichéd theme, yet this movie added another dimension to it. I would tag this movie to the category of movies such as The Arrival and The Day The Earth Stood Still. It beautifully depicts the battle between violence and compassion that we fight within ourselves, each day. If you have been wondering where to find this gem, it's on Netflix!

Anddddd Shazam! The climax took me by total surprise. We have Batman trilogy (Christian Bale essaying the role of Batman), Deadpool and now Shazam from DC and I can safely say, DC can emerge as a dark horse in the field of superhero movies, especially after the Avengers franchise comes to an end this April! It is a fun family entertainer and you can feel the innocence of a 15-year-old in the body of the bulky hero. You'll laugh your hearts out while watching this movie and there are some scenes which will make you go 'whoa'. E.g. the starting car scene, a brother being thrown out of a window, when the boy says 'Shazam' for the first time and the climax scene obviously. If the movie is still running in a theatre next door, do give it a watch. It didn't disappoint me one bit. I will rate it a 4/5 with a smile. 😊

If there was an option to like this movie '3000' times, I would, with my eyes closed. As this epic saga drew to a satisfactory end, I lived my early adulthood through the snippets in this movie. I laughed. I cried. I yelled with surprise. I was taken back. Eleven years, I have grown up with every 'Avenger'. My heart is invested in the whole team and to watch even a single one of them die, left a void that cannot be filled. Thanos, as towering as a personality as he is, he would go down in the history as one of the most powerful competitor the world has even seen. As they say, 'the show must go on' and the Avengers surely leave their mark. Avengers Endgame for me was not just a movie, but an experience to be lived. I lived it fully!

I mean what was this film? A wannabe movie on infidelity? A thriller? Or just a mishmash of stars obsessed with money and sex? It was good to watch Deepika in a movie after so long, but the storyline was super messy! Ananya was herself in the movie and the Siddhant Chaturvedi who had given her a fitting reply on her 'struggle to fame' ironically starred as her fiance! Dhairya was so-so. Naseeruddin Shah was calm, as always. Except for the good music, the lavish locations, and Deepika's acting, nothing else really struck a chord with me. This movie was all over the place and wasn't an entertainer nor a controversial movie. #FeelingDisappointed

Watched this Luv Ranjan movie and has expected more comedy than what TJMM has to offer. The romantic comedy which stars Ranbir and Shraddha Kapoor has a great starcast, melodious music, amazing locations and so many awesome thumkas. But what really goes missing is the story. The monologues and background music which try to justify the emotional scenes simply go down the drain. This is a love story of a strong independent woman and a man who loves to stay in a joint family setting. The movie had the potential to be a fantastic entertainer, but ended up becoming an okayish movie owing to long monologues, lackluster storyline and the inability to delve deep into characters. Bassi is good as a debutant and adds the much needed comedy to otherwise boring scenes. Overall, in my opinion, this movie deserves a 3/5.
