Not a touch on the original. Thankfully they changed the story sufficiently enough. Jake Gyllenhaal was very good in it. Connor McGregor absolutely spoiled it. Ham acting at best, came across slap stick comedy gone wrong. If he'd played the part as serious and menacing it could have worked. Hands down he was everything wrong about the film.

I had high hopes for the book having had it recommended to me.
There are areas where valid and helpful points are raised and you're encouraged to think more openly.
There is however a very strong bias towards the bible and quotes which become sermon like.
I like a more concise to the point approach, which this is far from. This made for an overall laboured book for me.

Disappointing. Not very captivating. Too many irrelevant characters just to be killed off. Seemed worlds apart from the first Suicide squad film. Cross between wanting to be over the top violent and bloody and slap stick comedy.
