Well, there go a few hours of my life I won't get back. I've read several critics blustering reviews, singing their praises of this, in my opinion, self-indulgent & pretentious attempt at a new take on time travel and its consequences. They probably watched it several times in order to understand the confusion that reigns on a first viewing and then wrote their reviews, giving the impression that you must be lacking in intellectual acuity not to have understood what the heck was going on. Poor plot, weak sound editing and little more than average acting make this film quickly forgettable. Call me cynical but I left the cinema thinking that Warner Bros. used this movie to guage how willing people were to go back to theatres and weren't too bothered about what they had lying around in their vaults, ready to throw at the big screen, in order to find out. I have no doubt that there will be those who think I'm being harsh or, for want of a better word, stupid for not understanding what this mess was about. Isn't that the whole point of a personal review though?
