This show is indelible for my life. It was my absolute favorite show during my childhood, and due to nostalgia I have started re-watching it. It was not a part of my childhood, it was my childhood. In my opinion, this show is timeless and can be enjoyed by people of all ages. It teaches about geography, technology and science in various circumstances, and is very ethical about life. However I faced one issue when I started re-watching, which was how cliched the endings are. When I was younger, it was something my simple mind did not notice however it is too cognitive for me at this age as I am typing this review. Nonetheless, I still prefer this version over the 2005 one since it is more original, and I may be biased, nostalgic.

This genuinely feels more like a horror movie than an action movie, and is one of the most gory, violent and gruesome sci-fi(or tech noir) films I have ever watched. In spite of the fact that the special effects are dated, it is apposite for this particular movie. Subjectively, I believe Arnie's silent performance is his best acting till date.
