If you are not into sci-fi and stretching your imagination this is not for you. If you like a nice love story that is touching, displaying the ups and downs of a relationship that is impeded by someone's genetic disorder, this is a nice little gem. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I am not an overly romantic type. Good watch when you want to get lost in a touching love story!

What can I say! I am a Bryan Brown and Brian Dennehy fan, so I am a bit bias. I enjoyed this movie, because of the few surprise elements, and I like that the background of a man who is a special effects person trying to get out of this sticky situation alive, and Dennehy's tenacious cop character. I LOVE the song at the end "Illusions", which just pulls the entire movie together. It's a good 80's movie!

I like this movie for the message, and the brilliant performance of Bob Hoskins, Denzel Washington, and Chloe Webb. One of my old favorite movies that I like to re-watch every now and then.
