A must watch classic. This movie is a proof that one doesn’t need an extraordinary story or pan India concept to make nice gripping movie. A simple script with its heart at the right place backed by amazing characterisation can do wonders. Karthik has done a great job playing a village guy character. As he has been doing these kind of roles with conviction, he had totally killed it in this movie. Justifying the aura, kindness and quirkiness which the character requires. But the stand out here has to be Arvind Swamy. Arul’s character goes through a lot of complex emotions and Arvind has nailed it to perfection. It’s so refreshing to see a veteran actor try new characters and make you wonder what else can he do? A very under used actor for sure. Meiyazhagan is a rare gem which takes you on an amazing ride filled with emotions, tears, happiness, family sentiments, values and all this while maintaining a smile on your face. If I have to summarise this movie in a single word, then it’s HAPPINESS.

Time waste. Better watch King Kong again. Movie makers should stop taking audience for granted. These kind of movies prove that movie making is not everyone’s cup of tea, same goes to the protagonist/mass hero. I’m perplexed as to what were the move makers thinking when they made this crap. People spend their hard earned money and take time out to have a decent their experience if not great. High time that production houses take this into account and give chance to actual talents. Please avoid watching this so called movie(even on OTT).
