Trenton Mason

I'm a big fan of Glover and was excited to see that he dropped a new album. I then noticed that the album cover was just white and that most of the tracks weren't named. This raised my suspicions a bit. After listening to the album I can say that it has very little direction and seems to be slapped together. I feel like the blank screen as an album cover and the unnamed tracks feel less like an artistic statement and more like a rushed job. I don't see much value in the album and haven't revisited it. I think that Donald Glover is a genius and a musical mastermind but kinda face planted on this album. "Feels Like Summer" is still an amazing track though.
