To be quite honest I really wanted to like this game but the difficulty levels are just all over the place. Once you get to chapter 6 aka poliwrath river if you aren't prepared or good at strategizing or very lucky that's most likely all you're going to see of the game. The difficulty changes make no sense, chapter 5 I beat with ease but chapter 6 I still haven't beaten and I got this game when it first came out. This game had so much potential for me to enjoy it, to beat it, and remember it as a good game, but the fact that the first segment of the game is almost unbeatable ruins the game for me. Long story short this game is definitely not for an average beginner if you want a mystery dungeon game that's beatable for most people go check out gates to infinity.
