This movie was just boring. The jokes were generic happy Madison humor that you gear in every Sandler movie. I don't know how anyone can make a action movie that puts people to sleep.

Just like 2018, this movie brings back that creepy Myers from 1 and 2. His presence is terrifying and the kills are brutal. The connections that they do with the first movie is easily the best part. The jokes and one liners are not needed and adapting the kills from RZs version of Myers is unnecessary. Michael was never that brutal in the first movie, that is what hold this movie back for me.
