Even though it's based on a school election, it definitely shines a light on the actual political spectrum globally, and how politicians are focused on their ultimate goal of power more than anything else, with voters being boiled down to numbers, and dirty tactics being employed left and right. As the series progresses it continues to bring in interesting plots.
It's a standout and unorthodox show, which isn't afraid to dwell into sensitive issues, treating them with seriousness but can be seen in a satirical light. The story is interesting, the writing is fresh, the characters are diverse and complement each other, and it's hella entertaining.
