"Lubber Pandhu" in Prime. Like a country made liquor, this film is a country made "Chennai 28". A seniors' love marriage goes for a 'duck' and a youngsters' budding love goes for a 'sixer' due to ego issues. A battle between the father in law to be and son in law to be is the crux of the theme. Will ego win or love win, the climax has the answer. Kudus to the actors who have played their role well.

A good family movie with a strong message for the public. Mrunal and Devarkonda excel in their role. Some scenes are overdone but on the whole, the film is a good entertainer. A message for the producers: Please spend some money to get shaving razors for the hero. It is sickening to look the hero with unshaven face. Either project the hero with a trimmed beard or a clean shaven face. Especially when the heroine looks majestically with dazzling looks.

A movie worth watching. Everything looked good including the madness of the three characters but at the end, the Director couldn't decide how to end the movie. Resolving the climax is the key to a film's success. Sandy should have chosen the Dr saying that for a good natured Sai and respecting his true love, he doesn't deserve a divorced. But bringing Tripurasundari at the last scene should have been fitted with a purpose, like saying that she has been in search of Sai all these years. This way the end would have been better.

370 in Netflix, a movie that is produced in Hindi. But it should have been made not bi-lingual but multi-lingual and screened in all platforms and theaters with zero entry fee so that every citizen of our country is fully aware of the Kashmir issue and abrogation of Article 370. Any second opinion? It is laudable to see NETFLIX coming forward to screen the movie when other OTT platforms didn't take the initiative. Further, the movie, Art 370 should have been started as a framed narrative, starting from the history of Kashmir from Kashyap Muni, the birth of Kashmiri Shaivism, the ancient hindu temples which are more than 10 in number and their current state in a dilapidated condition, the Arabs attack in 8th century and subsequent Mohammedan invasion driving away the native Hindu Pandits, the infiltration of muslims from Pakistan, the emergence of islamic terrorism, all these would have added a better impact and more learning on the viewers. As of now, the movie gives a picture of muslims being subjected to harassment, their right to live being curtailed, India's forceful entry into Kashmir valley and lack of justification for abrogation of Art 370. A strong background and subsequent efforts by India to bring in peace and harmony in the valley would have given the movie an excellent impact.

HARKARA, available to watch in Amazon Prime is a period movie blended in current times. HARKARA means a mailer like courier who carries and runs with postal letters during the British Raj. Shot in a picturesque mountainous region, the scenes are a treat to watch. The cinematographer deserves mention for his artistic capture of nature through his lens. Lyrics and tunes are good to listen to and blend with a native touch. Kali Venkat and Ram Arun Castro have given life to the story through their mature acting. One can see samples of British atrocities during the pre-independence era, exploiting the innocent and gullible tribals. A movie worth watching. 7.5/10 is my rating.
