I really enjoyed the book until the horrible ending. Why would you end a book that way??? I thought maybe it was based on a true story, but then found out it was all fiction. Why spend the entire book making him look like a great example of beating the odds only to jump ship in a few chapters and kill him off? I know life is like that sometimes, but most people read books to get a break from real life. I think 3 stars is generous because of the ending...
