The movie is riddled with plot holes. Why does almost everyone use swords in the game when guns are an option? How is a virtual device boosting Eiji's real-world and physical abilities? Why is nobody reporting him to the police when he assaults and hospitalizes SAO survivors? Why is nobody questioning the fact that SAO bosses are appearing in OS? Why does NOBODY care that the FIRE EXITS are locked when boss monsters appear during the concert?? The music and visuals are beautiful but the show repeatedly contradicts itself.
