The phrase Telenovelas was referenced several times throughout the movie that I stayed awake for...my husband fell asleep within the first 20 minutes and he was the one who was super excited to watch it...Let’s just say that the 30-second Telenovela clip played in the first half of the movie was more exciting than the first half of the movie it was in. I was pleasantly surprised with the twist in the middle-ending of the film and wish that level of story and acting was throughout. Rather disappointing, not so much for Will Smith, but Martin Lawrence who was painful to watch in this one. I do hope they create a spin-off film based on the second ending clip...THAT I would watch!
