Last time I wrote a review, it was on the critically acclaimed anime Good Burger... but that was last year. So, what better way to start the movie review train running again then with the BEST Disney original movie MinuteMen. Now, I happened upon this movie one spoopy night. I was with the boys, when suddenly, I pulled a Big Mac out of my pocket. I was shocked, because last time I checked, Big Macs weren’t supposed to be in your pocket, but of all the pockets it could’ve called into, it crawled into mine. Now, you may be asking “why are you telling me a story about the pocket-living Big Mac?” Well, after I got home I so happened to eat my new friend while I was watching this movie, and it was the best hour and thirty minutes of my life. Our main protagonists are Virgil, your run-of-the-mill guy who just wants to be popular, Charlie, a super genius who can go toe to toe with Jimmy Neutron, and Zeke, a cool dude with attitude, and he welds, which is a total bonus. Speaking of Jimmy Neutron, why does he always mess up if he is the smartest kid alive, then why does he make so many mistakes? I mean, I get that even the most brilliant of minds mess up, but every episode, he makes a mistake and almost puts the whole world in danger. Think about how many pies would be unbaked. Hugh Neutron wouldn’t have a reason to live no more. Anyways, the three build a time machine and become the first time travelers ever. With their new found capability, they will help those in need. The movie is filled with action, drama, romance, and most importantly, the power of friendship. I got a little teary-eyed as the three form a time-traveling bond. Time travel is an interesting topic to be discussed. I thought about it a long time when I finished the movie and I had to poop out the Big Mac I ate. Speaking of MacDonalds, I once saw a poster saying that they had retro happy meal toys, but when I got one, it was a Frozen 2 happy meal toy. I got so mad that I threw my extra small Dr. Pepper on the ground. Anyways, I’m getting off topic. MinuteMen is an underrated classic and I recommend that you watch it with your friends, family, and Big Mac. Stay tuned next time when I discuss Badlands Chugs and how he beat a competitive food eater in the Big Smoke order challenge.
