I have enjoyed the previous five books in this series but this book (Thread the Halls) was not up to the same quality as the others. The characters in this book behaved horribly and not the same as the other books in the series. No one cared that Dave did not really want to be in Haven Point for Christmas and did not ask why or his plans; Patrick told film writers about Ruth's writing - what did he expect to happen; Angie didn't seem to care about anyone but herself; Skye accusing Angie of poisoning Patrick? Thomas got what he deserved from Bev (She should be cleared of any wrong doing because we all know that these film writers could care less of the impact anything they write has on real people). Skye demanding that everyone drop everything else they are doing just to cater to her and Patrick acting like a 2 year old and not taking ownership of anything - what a baby! Horrible book. Not the same quality at all from the rest of the series. I am not sure I will read anymore if this is an indication of the change in characters.
