Severance delivers a message about work-life balance, corporatism, dealing with grief, and much more in an incredibly entertaining package. This is right up there with Lost as one of the best 'mystery box' shows available - there is certainly a slow burn aspect to it, as they take a lot of time to develop their characters. Every time the show gives you answers they just as quickly introduce new questions. But the dialogue is so well written and entertaining that it never feels slow, and they more than payoff the viewer's patience. Both season finales amongst the best finales in tv show history. Of course, I would be remiss to not mention the phenomenal range that the main cast shows; Adam Scott, Britt Lower, Zach Cherry, John Turturro, Patricia Arquette, and Tramell Tillman all put their full talent on display. I can't recommend this show enough.
