Great actors with very thin plot line

Excellent movie with a wonderful cast of excellent actors. It really gave a lot of insight into the socioeconomic background in China before the Japanese takeover during the 1930s. It also gave a hint of the Jewish refugees situation in Shanghai who were escaping the Anschluss in Germany. Excellent
