Despite Rotten Tomatoes review this is one of the better movies I've seen in a really long time. While the plot of the movie was based in science fiction the layers and elements added where derived from very real interpersonal themes. Forgiveness, courage, humility, love, grace and most of all perseverance. At the risk of sounding cheesy I will say those themes are what made this movie feel real. The emotions were raw and could strike a chord in anyone of us. The movie was long but every minute was utilized pristinely. The movie was able to pull you into the journey without causing you to question the reality of it. Unlike most sci-fi movies where you know all the events are fake and over exaggerated this one seems to keep you hooked despite that fact. I could go on but 10/10 recommend
