This movie is great for all the people that grew up with 60s-80s toys, bikes, and cereal. Kind of like Anchorman for kids breakfast makers.
Cronkite is obsessed with mail in toys, the dumpster kids are great, the jokes are solid, the cast is top tier.
When they introduced Jack Lalanne, Von Braunhut, Chef Boyardee, Steve Schwinn and a computer it was like the Avengers assemble of 60s culture.
The problem is the style is for people who don't need banal exposition of EVERYTHING. It's just dumb bits that draw from deep understanding of the root subject, if you don't understand what they're referencing, you're not going to get it.
I also wish Tony the Tiger never took off the mask. It would have been better to keep him in costume the entire time.
