I. Have. No. Words. This is amazing, unexpectedly. I know it's very very well loved and theres a reason to that. In the film, I love how Satsuki and her dad (who looks like Ash from pokemon for some reason) completely believe Mae when she first explains she saw Totoro, because it's just so amazing. It's different than other Studio Ghibli movies, as in it doesn't rely on creepy stuff or different things to be good. This relies all upon Satsuki and Mei, and I think its more about their relationship than them and Totoro. However, the ending seemed rushed and it was fairly short. There didn't seem to be any problems in the story except for Mei going randomly missing and their mom being in the hospital, and neither of them got us anywhere. Really good, but the ending was questionable.
