arguably a contender for film of the year, Steven Spielberg shines his magic onto one of the best musicals of all time to create a complete masterpiece. Although the main cast is amazing, what really makes it the movie that it is is the supporting cast putting in an absolutely stunning performance, with mike Faist as riff and Ariana DeBose being 2 of the most stand out performance, its true to the original but not too similar that you can choose which one you like more instead of thinking of it as just a remaster. Highly recomend you run to the cinema to watch this as although it will still be good from home, the amazing cinematography and sounds are amplified at the theatre. 9/10
