I am writing as an appreciation of your wonderful programme broadcast on 19th April 2020. It was so uplifting for Easter Sunday during lockdown. A great celebration of inclusion. I am an elder within the URC. It was refreshing to hear Reverend Alex Clare-Young talking about his experience before and since transitioning. Thank you and I hope this screening helps in a small way to promote acceptance and inclusion in churches. I myself am xy female and have had so much support from consultants, friends and family. I am very fortunate but I know that people who are transgender often have to endure so much in the form of prejudice. I find it really hurtful when some of this prejudice comes from churches.
