One of the funniest things I’ve seen for a long time. Very cleverly observed characters. The satire is fantastic and works well in this rural setting. Kerry, Kurtan and the vicars relationships are hilarious and quite touching at times. The funny situations and the way the episodes are cut, to bring together the characters thoughts are just hilarious. Then you add on mum and nan, who you never meet but whose presence is never far away and Mandy, wow what a force! I’m watching all 3 series again for a second time. I want there to be a fourth series. I miss Kerry and Kurtan already haha!

Not seen for a couple of decades. I loved it then and I love it now. A classic Brat Pack film, which hasn’t dated and is still a great watch. A film that believes in style, the soundtrack is wonderful, captures the flavour of the iconic 1980’s and believes in young love. Something that gets lost in modern life. A simple coming of age film, when attraction overrides class and social expectations. It’s great to have a bit of escapism v the brutal reality of modern day and woke film making. I look forward to watching it again sometime and great to hear The Psychodelic Furs. I need to watch more Brat Pack films now 😊

I’m not sure Eddie Izzard was cast well in this role. It lacked substance and even with Judy Dench, it felt rather weak and not very gripping. Even though it was trying to be. There was a lot of substance to this interesting story, that was not explored very well. Disappointed. But having said that, really nice to view some English scenes, with regional accents and attention to detail with the culture of the English seaside. Should be more of it! Although, it wasn’t the best film I’ve seen, I’m glad I watched it.

Such a pleasure to watch such clever well acted dry dark humour play out, which is absent of political woke identity agendas! That is until the second to last episode of the final series. This episode just wasn’t funny. Shame. But this didn’t spoil the series. It is truly wonderful to watch something that offers some such funny escapism! Well done. It took me several episodes to enjoy it, at first I just found Julie a crazy narcissist but one you get to understand how the characters work alone and interact together, it’s a genius. Taking the pi** out of being a mother around the school system and working etc, it’s brilliant! Thank you! But you lost a point for becoming woke! The social issues facing society are just too depressing! I think we all know what they are.

This was an opportunity to make something really good. The cast felt wrong, the music soundtrack was wrong. Everything too modern and completely missed the spirit of the culture of WWII. Just wrong. Perhaps if you are a younger generation with no direct link to the war time generation, you won’t notice and it won’t spoil it for you!

Shame how too many beloved institutions are ruined! Not for me!

Wow! What a story. Loved the film.

One of the best sci fi series I’ve seen for a long time! I adore the two main characters. I understand series 4 would have finished the story. I’m gutted that yet another wonderful series has been dropped mid story! I hope Netflix finish off. Please, please, please!!! I get sick of modern tv and it’s addiction to ratings, really stunts creative license.

Loved it! Didn’t know what to expect but all the character developments were cleverly done and for me kept the series interesting and exciting. Shame there was so many topless women. Unnecessary! And left a bitter taste. Would have switched off but the plot, location and characters were so engrossing.

I’m trying hard to like The Good Wife but I find it run of the mill and rather dull! I keep watching more episodes hoping it’s going to get a little more interesting, as Ridley Scott is involved but I’m just not getting anything. Shame! I’ll watch a few more episodes, just in case!!!
