The Book Thief is a book that has class written all over it. A book that can make you cry uncontrollably and make you smile over the most simplest of things. If a book is narrated by Death itself, then you know it is worth a read. We usually hear quality is better than quantity, but every sentence of the 584 pages has such an essence in it that I can't express it in words. A most incredible and awe-inspiring book. It is definitely not a time consumer. Simplicity at its best. The beauty of this book is so overwhelming that you can't help but grab it and shuffle through it's pages even though you have already read it a hundred times. In short, a worthwhile read for all ages.
