very long & drawn out. didn’t like how in movies now there is only one parent also in Onward. i think it should have been made where the father isn’t just there temporarily but for a week or more than one day. and also the father wasn’t there for both children which wasn’t good in my eyes because Ian never saw his father other than in pictures although he had barley it wasn’t like seeing his father once in his life. however you can say that Ian & Barley had there father during the movie but that was only his legs and feet. so again i feel it would be better to have the father appearance longer and without an intense or high climax in the movie plot.
