I really liked the movie. It had heart, I even cried at the end. I did not find it campy or less-than. I was surprised at the reviews being lackluster! I love that it was directed by a woman. It shows. And maybe that is what fans are seeing, or not seeing. It is a different telling from a point of view rarely seen in big cinema- A WOMAN’S. A woman main character, a woman director, I’m sure even more women in other vital roles. I thought it was great! 5+ stars!
