Absolutely fabulous miniseries, being brought up in the 80’s, I can remember the commercials that were broadcast back then, and looking back now as a 42 year old, the stigma that was attached to being gay is truly heartbreaking throughout the 80’s. The information available at the time, and posted out to households regarding HIV and AIDS that I can remember was supposedly “informative!” but that isn’t so! The characters are so relatable, you feel their joy, anguish and heartbreak, each character is so well acted. This miniseries has made me laugh at times, but inconsolably cry (much to my husbands disbelief) he also enjoyed watching this...I would highly recommend!!!
