Fans of RE are use to a story arch with very little character development other than for Alice. The pacing of this series allows the story to go beyond killing zombies. The backstory for Umbrella Corp is well done and the new characters work really well. Initial reviews of this series are from a perspective of fans who can’t break their mind away from a movie filled with running from or killing the undead. It’s much better than what you’re reading here.

There were times that I felt Robert Pattinson was delivering a role as strong as Daniel Day Lewis in Gangs of New York and Defoe brought his best as well. Captivating and thought provoking script. Cinematography impeccable.
