He didn’t get the date at when Gallipoli ended correct at the beginning of the movie. He made it out to be a 7 month battle when it ended January 1916. Which was a 10 month battle. I couldn’t respect the laziness of the lack of research done by whomever was responsible. I turned the movie off the minute I realized this error. I encourage those reading this to read so you know what happened in the past.

Entertaining…don’t be fooled by negative reviews on this. And don’t go in expecting anything. It’s kinda funny, kinda sad, kinda serious.

I’m not sure you could do a better job, think about it: would you have Christian Bale play Moses and not speak? How would you depict plagues and water parting without using actual earthly things to do it? otherwise the movie would of been worse and more of a magical sci fi. As a believer just look at it for what it is, a hollywood depiction of the story of Moses, none of us were there to see it anyway. I think this was as good as you could do. Not to mention I really saw the humanity of Moses fighting with God, I feel that was portrayed quite well. I avoided this movie (until today) cause of what I heard about it. I’m a Christian and avid reader of the Bible and even though things were left out or not correctly portrayed. Great job Ridley Scott!

I was impressed with the acting and portrayal of the conflict any Christian would go through given the situation. The only unforgivable sin: “every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but he who blasphemes the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him (Matthew 12:31-32)” for any misunderstanding or reservation to someone watching. It was an emotional experience for sure. The movie actually moves pretty quickly considering the content.

Considering the bleakness of cinema over the past decade, this movie is an exceptional masterpiece. Mixes modern and classic movies perfectly. Has a couple cheesy moments, but I was expecting so little, that I was beyond impressed. It is as most Tom cruise movies are….“highly entertaining.”

Starts slow but builds up into an epic explosion….episode 5 has a battle sequence exactly as if you were in the campaign of the first or second game. Definitely give it a chance. Acting is superb (at least from main characters) and the show in my opinion is a clash between “Star Wars”, “the expanse” and “star ship troopers” but done much better and more creatively.

As a casual movie watcher, who can spot well done acting and screen play. The scenes lasted too long and could have easily been cut which would have put the movie at 2 hours easily. It moved too slow, and the characters were under developed for sure. Too many odd monologues…..and dialogues for that matter. Gosling is exactly how he is in drive. His character definitely has that grungy action star for a typical guy like myself but the movie is too much a film buff’s dream for an average movie watcher to get into. Comp: Tron. Tron 9.5/10, blade runner 6/10.
