This trash was so dark it was Vantablack, an insult to my intelligence and an invasion of my privacy. How can Netflix release a movie like this, the only moral of which is that truly evil, manipulative, immoral, destructive, bad people will always win, so much so that even despicable evil people will envy and want to partner up with them? This is what the demoralized American public struggling through a pandemic which has already killed 500,000 of them need?!?! No wonder the audience Tomatometer is at only 38%. I promise it would be worse if the people this movie so thoroughly disgusted could bear thinking about it long enough to review it. Please convert my 1-star rating to 0, which you won't let me submit.

The show is remarkably well done, and the writers have not dodged the inevitabple tensions both in space and those involving those left behind, despite the sadness and angst. The choice of Joni Mitchell’s “River” to end Episode 5 was brrilliant—I sobbed for the first time at either a TV show or a movie in 20 years!
