Dave & Peggy Edwards

I've watched Countdown since the early days of Richard Whitely and my wife and I watch everyday now. However we have now taken to recording the show and watching it later due to Anne Robinson. She speaks almost through clenched teeth and is totally wooden in presenting as though she is always reading a script. We now fast forward the opening of the show. Likewise with the tea time teeser we can't understand what she says is the clue even if we really turn up the volume. This is really spoiling our enjoyment of the show
