A very enthralling version of the Mahabharata after BR Chopra. This 2013 version makes it more visually appealing with its CGI, lavish sets and the best choices of the actors and actresses, which can attract even young viewers. In spite of being a daily soap opera, it does not distort history to a great extent. The actual essence is not lost. All characters are suitable to play their roles and do not disappoint. Each episode keeps you gripped for the next one. The makers have taken some creative liberties, but the essence and aura of the characters is very much present. Kudos to Swastik Productions for such a great production.
