Casualbeans

I was hyped for this since HBOmax had been pushing it so much. My excitement was quickly crushed before the title card. I genuinely thought it was going to cut to someone watching a bad horror movie in the beginning and it never did. Sure, some parts of the movie are spooky, but you're quickly pulled out of the immersion by one liners, horrible cliches, and completely out of place music scores. Somehow they were also able to capture the worst part of early 2000s horror movies. I dont know if its the goofy cgi blood or bad story, but it feels like a movie id find buried in the closet and quickly put away after watching it for 5 minutes.
