Absolutely love this show!! A few weeks ago a segment was aired highlighting the extraordinary amount of water required to produce one pound of almond nuts. Since that episode, reports are surfacing that thousands of acres of almond orchards in California are being plowed under. The primary reason would seem to be the lack of water available to sustain these thirsty crops. However, I'm thinking that your airing of this episode may have had a bit to do with it. Perhaps you could do a follow-up episode.
