I loved this book! Couldn't put it down. It took a while to see where the storyline was headed but I thought it was such a clever and terrifying premise once I cottoned on. I have recommended this book to all and sundry with each of them having read it and also thoroughly enjoying it.

So complicated and slow to build! I loved The Binding so gave The Betrayals a go. Although I found the plot and subplot to be very clever I had trouble investing in the characters until about 2/3rds of the way into the book, which is too late. It wasn't a page turner until very close to the end, so I almost gave up and found myself reading in very small snatches of time rather than feeling compelled to binge. This is, no doubt, a well written piece but if you loved The Binding, and expect much of the same in The Betrayals, you may well be disappointed.
