Do not recommend, the book barely has any sources and if there are sources, they're either biased or just not credible because Shrier used YouTube videos and reddit posts as "sources". Also very harmful to the trans community considering rapid onset gender dysphoria isnt even a real diagnosis, it's just a term made up by a transphobic quack who was confused on why more and more trans people are coming out recently. News flash: it's because trans people feel more safe sharing their identity now more than ever. Infantilizes trans men and is insanely weird with its descriptions, its as if Shrier has a crush on these men. Barely talks about trans women and when trans women are mentioned, it's about a trans girl who committed suicide due to the suffering of having to go through conversion therapy TWICE. And Shrier still misgenders her 7 TIMES in the sentence. this is a terrible book, do not buy it.
