I enjoyed the movie. It shows the journey of 2 men trying to save a loved one in a way that could actually really happen. If there was some type of apocalypse the general population would have no idea what is going on or why it happened. All they would know is that they need to survive and some how find safety. These 2 men have no idea what is out there, but they have one goal, to save Sam. I'm not one for cliffhangers and not knowing the real cause of the apocalypse, but if there is going to be a sequel i am all for it.
