It was pretty accurate and I loved the visuals. Lee Scorebys actor is brilliant. So is Serafina Pekkala. Mrs Coulter’s not so much. She lacks the charm needed. This Lyra is really good but seems a bit old and should be more mischievous and devious. Iorek was done well and so was Roger. I love that they added parts from book 2 in there and Will’s actor is really good. But his plotline would be a bit confusing to people who didn’t read the books. Overall it was a really good show for people who’ve never read the books or watched the movie but I’m more looking forward to season 2 because I’ve never seen a visual adaptation. Season 1 was just something that had to be watched. That being said, I thoroughly enjoyed watching it. Also the theme song with the visual hints of the different worlds is stuck in my head. Loved it.
