This movie was very much in line with 2018's and it was a lot of fun to watch. I'm surprised at how fast the movie went by and some underdeveloped ideas. We're introduced to a couple of characters that seem to have some value to the story and then they're just gone. A lot of seemingly intelligent characters making really bad decisions like running towards a dark shady area as Michael walks after them or putting down their shotgun to focus on slowly taking a knife out of a dead guy while Michael Myers is still nearby. And then there were a lot of flashback scenes which added no value if you've seen 1978 and 2018. The scares were good and there were a few moments where you really felt for the characters. I didn't feel like Andi Matichak added much value in 2018 but in Halloween Kills, she made the movie. From making me feel her sadness, anger and frustration with the people around her. In all, I'm absolutely looking forward to watching this again very soon and believe it to be one of the better movies in the franchise...besides Halloween Resurrection of course.

This movie is great. Easily, top 25 “Aliens vs Navy SEALs with Comical Black Guy Action” movies. The aliens using duct tape to protect their helmets, then taking off their helmets completely was a really nice and sweet touch. I also thought it was awesome that an alien performed a triangle choke but, because of all the armor, had to give it up.
