Jesse L. Martin deserves something better. He’s the only reason I watch this. No need for a “hook “ of a burn scar and the constant references. I don’t see the need for this backstory . The constant explanations of reasons behind actions is tedious but I get it as that is the premise of the show. I dvr it and watch when nothing else calls me

Boring. Kidman's accent is ridiculous. I stuck through part of episode 3 because I'm a fan of Michael Shannon and Bobby Cannavale. I finally decided to quit wasting my time.
